He has provided clinical instruction in the departments of family practice and community medicine at The University of Texas Medical School from 1987 to the present. He has been an instructor in advanced cardio life support since 1989,and in 1984, was the team physician for the Houston Gamblers. He was also a member of the Drug Testing Team for Athletic Congress of U.S.A. Department of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Matocha received his medical degree from the University of Texas-Houston and masters degree in Public Health from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. Dr. Matocha has been performing corporate medical examinations for over 30 years to many of the top executives in Houston and surrounding areas.
